Healthy Lifestyles

What we do...

The Healthy Lifestyles project aims to promote health and a healthy lifestyle to everyone as we get older. We provide a range of activities throughout the borough in community venues and in our offices at Henderson Street. Check out our PROGRAMME OF EVENTS to find out what is happening near you!

All our classes and activities are led by a dedicated team of qualified tutors and walk leaders many of whom are volunteers. We currently reach over 300 clients per week in our classes.

The Healthy Lifestyles project is busy promoting the health and independence of the over 50's through information days, presentations to community groups and healthy lifestyles clinics. If you are a member of a social/community group and would be interested in receiving a talk from one of our team then please contact us on the details below.

We have a dedicated team of staff, tutors and volunteers who work hard to ensure the smooth running of the project on a daily basis. The project is funded by The Big Lottery, who fund the fit as a fiddle project. Central & Eastern Cheshire PCT and Cheshire East Council fund the Get Active Project.

We are always looking for potential volunteers, if you feel this could be something which you would like to do please check out our VOLUNTEER DESCRIPTIONS and click on the volunteering page of this website for details on how to apply.
