Footcare

For older people who are unable to see, hold nail clippers or reach their toes, cutting toe nails is an impossible task.  Poor attention to nails and foot hygiene can result in debilitating problems including discomfort and falls.  The project involves volunteers, trained by the Podiatry Department of Central and Eastern Cheshire Primary Care Trust, to visit older people in their homes and manage their toe nail cutting for them.
